Project Description:

The UNSW Health Translation Hub will includes:

  • Purpose-built spaces for researchers, educators, students and industry partners to work alongside clinicians
  • Education, training and research rooms
  • Clinical schools
  • Ambulatory care clinics
  • Support facilities including retail premises
  • Over 2,500 m2 of publicly accessible open space for staff, students, patients and the community

Project Description:

Refurbishment of existing wing within operating facility, inclusive of new fixtures, monitoring equipment and pipe work, consisting of 24 cells, prison library, administrative offices and secure storage rooms due to excessive fire damage

The Pathways Residences Longueville

Project Description:

RACF-residential aged care facility, 143 bed or 122 room multi-storey facility.
Allied health services for rehabilitation and remediation, hydrotherapy pool, medical centre
commercial laundry, restaurants, commercial kitchens and facility management, pharmacy, hairdresser, beautician, cafe and restaurant.

Central were contracted to provide Design and Construction services on this project.

Prince of Wales Hospital Sydney Children’s Hospital Stage 1 & Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre

Project Description:

A new Prince of Wales Children’s Hospital will be built that will include:

  • children’s emergency department 
  • inpatient units for medical and surgical specialities
  • clinical care, research and education together under one roof, to transform kids’ health
  • state-of-the-art technologically advanced wet and dry laboratory spaces
  • education, training and research spaces
  • oncology inpatient units

Project Waratah – Amazon Sydney Warehouse

Project Description:

200,000 square-metres warehouse is the size of Taronga Zoo, over 5 levels inclusive of robotic devices. It is the largest fulfilment centre in the Southern Hemisphere and the largest warehouse in Australia housing up to 11 million items.

Central were contracted to provide Design and Construction services on this project.

Central Metro Station

Project Description:

$955 million overall contract value to transform Sydney’s busiest station.

Rail Station Upgrade to accommodate new Metro Services. New underground Sydney Metro platforms at Central beneath platforms 13, 14 and 15, escalators directly to suburban platforms, an upgraded northern concourse with transformed pedestrian thoroughfares and feature roof and Sydney Water infrastructure upgrades in and around precinct.

Central Walk underground pedestrian concourse at Central Station that better connects passengers to trains, light rail and the new Sydney Metro underground Platforms. Including a 19-metre wide tunnel from Chalmers Street linking to a new Sydney Metro platforms under the existing Central platforms and Sydney Light Rail and Bus Interchange.

An entry at Chalmers Street that provides direct access to Central Station for customers from the Surry Hills catchment and a direct interchange for passengers from the CBD and South East Light Rail.

Waterloo Integrated Station

Project Description:

The project is part of the Sydney Metro Rail System.

The Metro Quarter development comprises five building envelopes, including three towers and two mid-rise buildings above and adjacent to the underground Metro station. The total developable area is just under 70,000 sqm/GFA with an end value close to $1bn AUD.
